Cleaning maifold and turbo Q's...
so due to a crappy company taking forever to send me replacement parts my Manifold and Turbo have been sitting around for a good while. I am finally going to be installing them but would like to clean out the manifold and the turbo if i can to make sure nothing built up in them over time that might make problems. I also know that i might have gotten a few metal scraps in my manifold when I made the cuts should I just rinse it with water or use mineral spirits or oil then let it dry out?

i flushed mine out with hose

diesel fuel on the manifold and iron turbo parts. acetate on the aluminum bits.

so like use acetate on the like the inside area of the turbo? |
the compressor housing. you don't want to leave any residue in there.
