Default Cleaning maifold and turbo Q's...

so due to a crappy company taking forever to send me replacement parts my Manifold and Turbo have been sitting around for a good while. I am finally going to be installing them but would like to clean out the manifold and the turbo if i can to make sure nothing built up in them over time that might make problems. I also know that i might have gotten a few metal scraps in my manifold when I made the cuts should I just rinse it with water or use mineral spirits or oil then let it dry out?

the compressor housing. you don't want to leave any residue in there.
