Default ETD Racing Manifold Replacement

Anybody uses it and thinks is woth the $399? I am going to replace my down pipe and while I am taking out my manifold, I thought I would replace the manifold. By the way, it is not cracked yet.

Thanks!

If it's not already cracked, that's a tough decision. I mean, it'll probably crack, and it's not a job you really like to do often...and a replacement is normally ~$200 anyway, so $400 for one that shouldn't crack seems like a pretty durned good deal.

If you intend to replace it eventually do it now. That way you can sell your intact manifold and make some $$$ on it. I'm sure someone would snap up a good greddy manifold for $100-150.

This is what I had in mind. Anyone heard of better performance with this manifold, as they promise?

There are probably plenty of areas you can improve on the greddy setup before the manifold will present a significant problem. The ETD racing manifold is probably better, but you'd probably only want to switch it out to squeeze that last bit of potential out of the system.

It's probably more durable, but I've read at least two instances on this forum where it has cracked.
