FM downpipe with Begi-s kit
Is this possible? I am trying to figure this out. FM cant give me a clear answer.

anyone?

Typical FM and BEGi products revolving around cast manifolds do intermix correctly by design.
That aside, if you have a BEGi-S kit, why do you not have a BEGi-S downpipe? |
It should fit.

without any modification?

I have no idea. To my knowledge, people don't usually replace the BEGI downpipe with the FM one. However, a Garrett turbo is a Garrett turbo. As long as it is a GT2554-GT2860, there should not be any alignment problems. Both manifolds are also the same height, so we have been told.

I'd go with Begi separated, its one sexy piece of......pipe

it will work! you shouldnt have any problems! i have the BEGi log manifold, and ill be doin the same thing! except ill just be buying the FM elbow and making my own 3in exhaust all the way back!
|
That's a good idea I might just do that too. I am for sure going to go with FM. I can not stand slip joint that leaks all the time and it looks like people are having problems with waste gate being blocked off by the begi dp. FM has way less ristriction and u can not beat cast smoothness.

I too am looking to replace my begi S downpipe with an FM downpipe.

Got the elbow ordered. I will try it as soon as it gets here. And let people know how it fits.
