Typical FM and BEGi products revolving around cast manifolds do intermix correctly by design.

That aside, if you have a BEGi-S kit, why do you not have a BEGi-S downpipe?

I have no idea. To my knowledge, people don't usually replace the BEGI downpipe with the FM one. However, a Garrett turbo is a Garrett turbo. As long as it is a GT2554-GT2860, there should not be any alignment problems. Both manifolds are also the same height, so we have been told.

That's a good idea I might just do that too. I am for sure going to go with FM. I can not stand slip joint that leaks all the time and it looks like people are having problems with waste gate being blocked off by the begi dp. FM has way less ristriction and u can not beat cast smoothness.

i haven't had any problems with my BEGI downpipe! but just for simplicity i want to go with the FM elbow! from the people that i have spoken with that have them, they say it is a hell of alot easier to install and remove! i like that ability just in case there are reasons i may need to pull a turbo or something!

Got the elbow ordered. I will try it as soon as it gets here. And let people know how it fits.
