OK, found out the problem was stemming from the ISC. Don't know how, but it was throwing code 34, got a new to me one, checked it, had proper resistance, put it in, went for a drive today real quick, and the thing boosted to 6psi by about 2800-3000 rpm. But now, for some reason, the car is throwing code 8, AFM. I tried redoing the connections at the ecu to try and get it to quit throwing the code but no luck. Checked the sensor, sensor checked out fine, but when I hooked the emanage up, the Vout of the afm was stuck at 3.2. Don't know what the hell is going on, but somehow I am not getting a good signal to the ecu and the emanage. I am going to try and get some pigtail extensions for my ohmmeter and rule out the connecting wiring. Oh well, if you guys have an extra afm just lying around, I will definately take it off your hands to try and get this damn thing working. I am also going to do the check valve in the vacuum line tommorrow, just for insurance purposes.

So, I got a new afm, totally transformed the car. Night and day. Retuned the emanage just for the ignition portion for now, and pulled 11 of the 12 degrees for now. It sounds like a lot, but I am playing it very safely. I am getting a full 6 psi of boost at 2400rpm. Pretty quick spool. It is pretty instant. Need to tune out the bogs between shifts, but the thing runs 100% better now. It feels like a totally different car. Thank you to all of you guys for helping me get the bugs out of the system. Now I just have to tune it and find some bigger injectors for when the water injection system comes in. Should be pretty fast. Looking to add a good 50hp for the next step in my venture to the dark side as some call it. I will definately be posting some more, love this site and you guys are a great source of info.

Gonna give it a try, but that is going to take a lot of money.

be carefull about pulling that much timing... you retartd it too far and your EGT will get higher due to burning the fuel to late in the cycle.

I currently have the base timing at 12 degrees, and then I redid it this morning and am pulling 7 degrees, so far so good. It feels real good though, but falls on its face after a shift.

I finally got around to finding and fixing all of the vacuum leaks. Now the car comes down slower off of the throttle to idle. It used to have idle droop and sometimes die, depending on how high the rpm's were before I let off the throttle. Also, for now, until I can afford a downpipe from turbotony, I am just going to get a 2.5" catback and gut the cat. How much of an increase in spool do you guys think that will give me.

Got the exhaust done, and we just cut the cat out for now. I got a flowmaster super 40 muffler on there. Sounds real good, kind of raspy right now because it needs a cat in there. At idle, it sounds real sweet. Turbo sppols up with authority now. Now just need to save up for that damn dp. Oh yeah, it is mandrel bent 2.5". I will try to put some sound files on here for you guys.

Does that 40 series flowmaster have "baffles" or whatever they're called?

Yeah, it has the baffles. The main difference between the regular and the super 40 is the 2 chamber design. This makes the route that the exhaust has to take a little shorter. Beautiful sound though, just I do not like the raspiness that it gave the car due to not running a cat. It is a little loud also, a hell of a lot louder than I expected. Can't wait to get the dp, should give the turbo even more spool, yes. I am going to make the videos tommorrow, so I will attempt to put them here for you.
