My first post on here. I've finally gone for a 1998 1.8L turbo after my 1.8L M62 supercharged car.

A quick question regarding the HKS 1.8L turbo kits. Does anyone know which Garrett turbo is used in this kit and what is the maximum boost/ power available?

The HKS kits are usually lacking in many areas, and most of their bolt on setups are small turbos that push out about 5psi. A big problem is the extreme difficulty of finding someone who can tune the f-con. I'd strongly suggest going with a different manufacturer.

The ECU is an AEM FIC6. It's running 420cc RX8 yellow tops.

The boost is currently about 13psi and she's running AFR's of 11.5 during boost.

The question was whether anybody knew which turbo was used in the HKS kits? I think it maybe a T25G

Does anyone know for sure?

Also what is the max I can run this too without issues?

The "rule of thumb" I see spoken sometimes is 250whp on a perfect tune if your engine has stock internals.
The amount of psi can vary depending on your elevation/efficiency/1000 other factors.
