This is horse ****.

How come i wasn't spoon fed like this?

Someone needs to take all this good information and put it in one big post, or a few smaller more manageable posts.

Oh wait....

Youre crazy Vlad, that **** is sloooooow.
My LC-1 is noticeably faster in both update rate, and with a much smaller lag. Tuning with the AEM requires you to tune where the car was half a second ago, not where it is now. Not a problem for a rough tune, but its quite annoying when youre really trying to dial the car in.
Regardless. Not everybody needs to be throwing out their AEM for an MTX-L, but there is no reason for anybody to buy an AEM new when the MTX-L is out for the same price and does literally everything better.

I completely agree with FTBoogie having a very similar experience myself. There is also a difference in the way the heater controller works between the brands as well as a variance in current draw which most people I suppose could care less about. I've always preferred using my innovate gear when tuning but keep the aem for daily monitoring since I already own it.

I have an lm1, lc1, and UEGO, so I guess I'll have to get out the scope and see if I can get some latency data between the three. I made a couple videos a while back showing current draw during warmup and operation of the AEM and LM1, you can also see the heater operation by watching current spikes during warmed operation.

Warning: They are indeed handheld cellphone videos.

I always forget how to get youtube working here. Edit: oh nvm it worked.
