Default just back from a 'real' track event, story inside = )

So I've recently been aquianted to the reno SCCA and have been attending their autocross events every couple weeks, but today they had an actual track event at the reno-fernley faceway. It was a PDX event and time trial, but seeming it was my first time on a real track i opted for the pdx novice group = )

overall it was an awesome experiance, learned a buncha stuff about taking the correct lines, track etiquette, and what my car is capable of and so forth, but also the problems with my car.

course was set in the 'h' configurations, which was 2.1 mile in length and highlights were the front straight and a back mini straight. the front straight saw speeds of about 110mph in my car and 125-138 in the zo6's.

in which my overheating problems arose, in the morning the car ran fine and saw a high water temp of about 100 celsius, but as the day progress with 40 minute breaks in between 20 minute driving sessions my water temp climbed to about 110-115 celsius. after taking a 1 minute pit stop water temps came down right away into the 95-100 celsius range. my friend who was running a fm2 setup at around 15 psi had water temp issues on his 4th run, where his link ecu cut out on him when his water temp hit 115 celsius, (he was running a 37mm pwr rad too !)

my oil leakage seemed to have increased almost 10 fold since the event though. i knew i was burning a little bit and would have to put about a quart in every 800 miles or so, but now i have oil dripping down the front of the oil pan making its way all the way past the tranny. i've been monitoring the oil leaking alot lately and im also noticing alot of oil on the pass side, under the intake manifold. my oil filter is tight and so is the oil return... (greddy stock location). im thinking just about every gasket on the low end of the engine is blown or leaking like a sob. cam seals, front main crank seal, oil pan.... the engine probably has like 200k+ on it easily.

so i think its time for a new engine, any recommendations on how i should go about getting one or what i should look for in a used 1.6L engine. or maybe how i should prepare the engine before going into my car?

Thanks
Scott

just jerk that one and rering it and replace the gaskets or bore it out and get some nice pistons, or pistons and rods. Then get some WI problem solved
