Default Kraken + EGR?

Hello Everybody,

It's been a while, but I'm thinking about doing another turbo install. I like the work that Kraken is doing from what I can see. I'm thinking Kraken EFR 6258 setup for a 2003 car. The problem I'm seeing is the EGR. I need to keep the stock ECU for inspection and it will throw a code without EGR. Has anybody ever cobbled an EGR onto a Kraken setup? Or has anybody ever managed to emulate the signals needed to convince the stock ECU that the EGR is still there?

I believe you can just remove the tube from the intake manifold and block off the hole where the tube goes in in the manifold or place a plate between the EGR valve and the manifold. Leave the EGR valve in place. The stock ECU should be fine with it.

While I haven't actually tried this approach, it is my understanding that the "Boost Sensor" detects correct functioning of the EGR system. EGR valve opens, intake pressure increases and the "boost sensor" sees it's working. If this doesn't happen, then the ECU throws an EGR code.
