so, i scan craigslist like i normally do everyday and this miata popped up,

i called the guy asked him a buncha questions and drove down to sac town today with my brother. i checked the car out and did the normal visual inspections and we walked away with the car for $1800.

here are the specs. tell me what you think.

1992 Miata /w 167k miles
power windows, power steering, a/c, no abs
repainted silver recently, not a single dent or scratch.
basically stock greddy kit, @5psi

the car was sitting for quite awhile but it started right up in sac town and we drove it over I-80 all the way back to reno without a single problem.

I cruise craigslist everyday and nothing decent since last spring. What are your plans with it? Do you know how many miles the kits been on it?

 

i'll take some photos later today. the guy bought the car @ around 130k and had the kit installed around 140k miles. so it has roughly 30k miles on it.

im not sure what im going to do with it yet. my brother and i bought it at a joint venture kind of deal...my brother kind of wants it, but we're still undecided. its definitely a fun little car. but we might be cleaning it up a bit adding an intercooler and maybe selling for a little more down the road. i'll keep u guys posted if ne1 wants dibs on it.

i think i might b selling it, we just cleaned it up tonight. it was a bit of a mess when we got it... was sitting and got rain inside... had mold and crap lol.

but now... super clean looking. just gotta get it registered and title changed over.

lol, i sold it to my brother. hes kind of testing the waters right now i guess. if he can't get what he wants for it hes just going to keep it.

hes getting attached slowly each day he drives it.... lol, so its looking like its going to stay in the family.

but if we get a decent offer, we'll let it go.

 

that would be cool, buy it for $1800 and sell it for $4000.

Dude i wouldnt care if it had 20k miles on the turbo you cant even find a regular 90 miata for under 2500 with 160k miles... awesome find... clean it up a bit and sell it for 4500
