Default oil pump

hows it going guys. i was at an autoX event this weekend and the car ran great while i was on the track. but after the event and starting up the car again i noticed that i had lost pressure on my oil gauge. the engine than started to knock and all sorts of good sounds came out of it.

i was just wondering if anyone had this problem before and what might i do to fix it?

thanks.

you need thicker oil and a better flowing oil filter or an oil cooler what happened most likely is the oil got thinned out by the heat you applied ot it and then failed to keep the lifters primed. Wich resulted in the noises you heard.

I think you blew your oil pump. I used to have that happen on my big power Miata.
