Default Oil Return Line to the pan w/ SS line

Has anyone done a SS line to the pan?

I figured before I do a 1/2NPT to 5/8s barb, maybe just order up a threaded fitting, a ss line and a bung to weld on to the turbo side with fitting for SS line

Let me know what you think or what you have done..

Thanx

It's been done. This is a beautiful example by a board member.

You can do it, but it's really overkill. I think just the line is something like $45, whereas the high-temp silicone that ATP sells is like $9 a foot.

Silicone or rubber will never be in my oiling system **** that braided stainless with teflon or i don't drive the car. Sure it costs 30-40 $ a hose but it is worth it for peice of mind in my book.
