there's a weighted ring around the edge of the flywheel. if it's getting trued, might as well shave that ring off....

There is a ring of metal on the stock flywheel that they usually shave off to accomplish this. If I were to start all over, I would have just lightened my stock flywheel. |

If it's a 1.6 flywheel and newly resurfaced, sell it to me for less than the price of a flywheel grind and I'll take it :)
