the HKS kits is top notch, but with shipping added nothings beats an Begi-S.

- Great oil return "T" into the dip stick, I wishes they sell that part seperately so you won't need to drill the damn pan.
- Mini Subcon, is pretty useless outside of factory spec boost limits.

you just gave me an idea, I wonder if it's possible to make your own "T" return to the dipstick hole??

I can take some pics from a HKS turbo kit car, looks to be a simple replacement. If you looks closely at the sale post photos, the HKS dip stick is faintly showing just hiding behind the cross pipe in GOLD.

looks easy enough... few things to keep in mind:
- deepstick would have to come out because it might block the flow
- need a lock on top of tube so oil doesnt spill out
- need to keep tube length same as stock to get correct readings with deepstick
- is the tube wide enough?

putting a fitting on tube is an easy part...

Urban.. not sure if I get you correctly.. do u mean the dip stick has to securely fitted in the tube? or block completely.

THere was one incident which one of the HKS turbo car blew his engine, and oil got squirt out from the dip stick tube onto the ex. manifold which caught on fire.

When i had my gti, i thought about doing this, since the dipstick went straight into a rubber fitting on the side of the pan.

Might have to see if i can figure something out for the miata this weekend... could cut the dipstick tube, flare it, and put a brass T in there... but would it be able to flow enough oil?

well, dont forget that hks actually supplies you with a replacement tube. we are talking about cutting oem tube. Mimime, can you take dimensions of return line and dipstick tube from hks turbo car you mentioned earlier?

use a spring on the dipstick end to keep it in place and sealed
the DSM guys running BOOST often do this
