Oh yeah, definitely not. No idea what it is though. You should probably get rid of that adapter though. Talk about leaks.

Mint flavored dental floss and fine sand? MacGyver would do it.

cutting the welds.. only the middle section looks hacked up because the blade got very worn and wanted to finish the job..and the blade circumference was not really big. 3inches? i mean as long as there is room for it to expand.... look at the end of the album..

But those are relief cuts, not welds, which would imply adding material.

No he said he's cutting the welds, perhaps he thinks the flange was welded together?

I'm going to guess it was a Greddy kit with a manifold that cracked, and was replaced with the $100 Ebay cast manifold that has a T3 flange and a T3-toT2 adapter, also from Ebay.

You could always figure out which Volvo T25s have a T3 flange and maybe bolt a junkyard one of those up directly. I've been wondering what kind of results that would produce on one of these cast manifolds. Pick-Your-Parts around here are full of turbo Volvos.

That's what happens when you don't run a filter.

Default relief cuts on manifold

I've seen some are worse than my condition.. it will still work but won't be perfect.
