Default spark plug #1 have oil on them

as stated, i pulled the plugs today, plug 1 and 4 had some oil on them
i then pulled the valve cover to check to see if it was leaking from the gasket,

no go.....

im thinking my motor might be on its way out....

this sucks...

if anyone has any ideas to why there could be oil on plugs 1 and 4, please, tell me im under the assumption that its the rings

greddy kit, front mount, 3-4 psi, 2 months boosted

threads only, the tops were bone dry, and were kinda light white/ash colored, well, more so metal colored, they looked fine, but the threads had oil, so i duno, and it was only on 1 and 4, not 2 and 3

I bet your VC leaked a little in there and as you pulled them out the oil coated the threads and drained into the cylinder. Are you seeing blue smoke or much oil consumption?

some oil consumption, no smoke at all, not even a little, this perplexes me.
but i do have a light amount of oil consumption, but if the valve cover was leaking somewhere, could this be the cause of it?

Did you seriously just say you have some oil consumption and then ask if a leak could be the cause of you losing oil?

lol, to the op do a compression test wet/dry and also a leak down test will tell you exactly whats wrong with your motor if you believe its on its way out

i going to bet its the vc gasket...i had the same problem but when i replaced the gasket, the oil burning smell went away when letting off the throttle!!!...i doubt its the rings since oil consumption isnt an issue!!!
