One example of a blown motor on a 6258 at 10psi does not mean that stock engines aren't safe when fed by a 6258. Our kits will make power/boost levels that are appropriate for long-term use with a stock engine - we expect that to be between 8 and 11psi depending on the base compression and supporting mods.

Are you ceramic coating anything?
All EFRs from Full-Race now have ceramic coated housings. Are you doing anything similar?

So it's the 6758 a better pick for 18-20+psi or is the 6258 better with the faster spool?

They both can run 18-20+ psi just fine. What power numbers are you looking for? PSI is just a measure of restriction, it tells you nothing about performance.

I have yet to see a ceramic coating that will hold up to my satisfaction.

I've seen FR's coatings and I wasn't impressed. I've never understood why a shop would coat the flange faces, and coating the wastegate flapper arm is just kludgy.

It's investment-cast stainless steel (or at least it will be again at some point soon) - I see absolutely no reason to incur the additional cost. If you want to add it, you're welcome to, but it won't be something that we offer.

I think FR uses ceramic paint, at least thats what it looks like. It doesnt look like a true ceramic, its not thick enough and they only rate it to 2000*F.

Ofcourse, I'm wanting in the 350+ range. I don't want to put my 6 speed threw to much strain to where it blows when I want to use my horses and torques slinging about corners.

which as I've seen in earlier post that the smaller well also run 20psi easy and good for 325hp.
So I want sure if I should just go for the next bigger and sacrifice some spool time. which shouldn't be much with the amazing EFR's correct?

Of the "few" tial investement cast stainless turbines I've sold, I've sent back a "few" for quality issues. They were nice enough to send me some Tshirts and hats for my troubles. Suppler problems aren't fun.

Complexity issues with the twinscroll IWG housings, apparently. From what I was told at PRI in November, the cast housings aren't a permanent solution, and the investment cast stuff will be back at some point.

Savington, sorry if this is a dumb question but are you saying your exhaust manifolds will be investment cast stainless? I thought they were welded tubular manifolds?

I was referring to the EFR turbine housings. We have not made a final decision on the material/construction of our manifolds.

i noticed in earlier posts in this thread that you might look into emission compliance with this kit. Is there any truth to that? will you attempt to keep EGR functionality?

It's not on our radar right now.
