I am wondering what options people have used to replace the turbo that comes with the MKturbo kit.

The threads came out of the aluminum compressor housing when I tried to tighten the clamp. The fins are also not looking great.

I have a 1994 with stock internals, but i would like to get into a couple tracks days a year. I was wondering what people are using or if there are better options that won’t break the bank.

I emailed Lars last week to inquire about a replacement but haven’t heard back yet. I figured I would see if anyone here has any suggestions.

I mean pretty much any eBay t3 with a Ford 5 bolt discharge housing will work. Maybe measure your compressor and turbine wheela and look for something similar.
