Updating an old begi kit.
Hi all. I have a 91, turbocharged approx 15 years ago with one of the original begi ihi unit, complete with afpr, j&s knock sensor and a recirculating bov. It is such a beautiful car in every sense that I decided to spend some good money and start updating her.
Already swapped the rear to a full torsen updated the clutch, and dropped the six speed in. I just installed a Mspnp and Lc-1, which I will be tunning soon enough. My question pertains to what need to do with the old fuel setup.
-i removed the vacum line from the afpr, enough or should I go ahead and remove it?
- can I continue to use the j&s or should I attempt to remove it? The Mspnp is apparently only wired to deal with msknocksense, however if I just unplug the j&s, car wouldn't start.
- should I remove the recirculating bov or just leave it there?
the car already has a pierburgh and am looking to drop some 460's in.
Can you guys think of anything else I should do?
Thank you, Fadi.
