Default well so much for using -an fittings for an oil drain

i drilled the oil pan too high and cant thread on the -8an hose onto the fitting in the oil pan. wtf oh well. Now i just hope than i use a regular npt to hose barb fitting still push a hose onto it, i think i should be able to get it. anybody know of any regular hose that can take the heat.

hmm now that i think of it it might a good excuse to get rid of ps/ac, then it would fit fine. though i did want to keep these things.

You can get high temp silicone hose from any hydraulic shop. My local one sells it for $2.50 a foot or less. I've been using the same hose for quite a while now. It should last atleast 2 years. Depending on how often you pull it on and off. It gets stiff after a while.

I feel your pain... if mine had been 1/32" higher I would have had the same problem.
