Once again we have assembled a great team for the Thunderhill 25 hours. We return as the defending E2 champions. This year we will field four cars.

We're working on having live streaming in car video from all 4 cars.

 

THAT would be incredibly awesome... the twitter was so/so last year, but if you can pull of streaming live video from each car - would be tremendous - I'll see no sleep during the 25. Doing that in itself requires a dedicated IT guy.

 

Like I told everyone who complained about the sparse twitter feed, and there were some surprisingly ugly complaints (???), that we were busy winnin'

But yeah, I'll try to get more of the crew posting updates as they come off their shifts.

 

If we have enough team members maybe we could dedicate someone as a social media manager. That person could make sure no important strategy was inadvertently shared on Twitter/FB. How is the cell service at the track? Last time I was there I recall getting reasonably good 3G on AT&T.

 

Emilio, have you gotten my email regarding this event? It is slightly time sensitive so I want to make sure it actually made it to you.

Emilio the Federal is only listed as 205's in 15's - are you running 17's?

We make 15" wheels and that's what we race Miatas on.

 

 

Yeah what I meant was I don't know what CCSC is implying - 205/15 sounds fine to me. He seems to think that's a problem.

no problem at all, just thought they'd be running biggest rubber possible.

 

Shooting in the dark here, but I would guess that it's a blend of classing points which IIRC factors in what tire you're on, and possibly strategy - I don't know if you're allowed tire changes - as in switch tire size/brand in pits, or if you have to select one type of tire and stick to it, but the 205 would be good in the wet if it started raining, and it is a North CA race in the beginning of the rainy season.
