Default 2014 NASA west coast Nationals at Sonoma

Who all is going?

After building and developing my car for PTD and having to downclass to PTE last minute and finishing 2nd, I am shipping my car out from florida to run PTD.
Hopefully I can do a little better.

Wow...

That's got to cost a pretty penny.

How many PTD cars registered?

I will make 7 in D

Im actually having another local SM team take my car to laguna for the SCCA runoffs in a couple weeks. One of my old Grand-Am team owners that i used to drive for is going to be there running a few cars and is going to pick it up from them and take it back up to the bay area with him. Then we fly out.
Its not cheap, but certainly cheaper and more efficient than driving my truck/trailer or a normal transport company. especially since I am bringing some extras...

I am going to leave the car out there for a while at his shop and see if anyone wants to buy it out there. I figure there is probably a bigger market out there (NORCAL)

Who'd you drive for in Grand Am?

What class are you going to run at the runoffs? SM or something else?

I would register, but I'm not sure I'll be eligible with only one weekend of TT under my belt before the championships.

Guess it's time to go dig around the NASA website some more...

If I do qualify, you'll have another Miata in TTD to beat up on.

Good luck Mazda drivers

I think E should do low 1:53, D high 1:50. I think me or Andrew have the E record there. William still has the D record I think. More of a handling course than RA and it's hard on tires so any poorer handing but more powerful cars have less an advantage I think.

I was with compass360 in 07 and Team Cobalt California.
I am not driving at the runoffs. I just found it to be the most efficient way of getting my car to california. Tom Lepper, who owned Team cobalt california is going to have a few cars at the runoffs and is going to pick my car up there from BSI racing who is based about an hour away from me in Daytona.

Randy Evans actually set a new course record earlier this year... 1:53.289 which was about six seconds faster than anyone else that day. Pretty sure he's got one of your 949 cars painted green...

It has the best of the best everything. No expense spares and fully developed. Multiple track records. Finished second at 2014 east coast nationals in PTE against a more favorably classed rx7 but ahead of multiple other national championship winning Miatas.
The car has tunes and setups developed for each NASA PT/TT class from E-B.
I will release a full parts list after west coast nationals.
If you are interested contact me and or come see the car at the event

less than two weeks away now. I cant wait to fly out there and meet my car that's already been there for a few weeks now.
Again, my car will be for sale after the weekend. It will come with tons of spares, setup info, data, in car video and all the phone support you could ask for.
If anyone is interested come and take a look at the track or contact me and we can talk.

Good luck at the Nationals Eric!

I didn't end up with enough results to qualify for TT this year, but will be out with a vengeance in 2015.

I'll swing by and say hello between session!

I'll be there as well, on a bike, crewing for a TTC turbo miata from AZ.

I might come say hello to a few of you chaps if I run into you.

Party at the Team NASAAZ tent(s).
