I forgot about that. Yah, it would be a great starting place for a points car. Still have the OSG laying around? Reflashed ECU even saves 3 points for 6spd. Holy crap, that thing would be a monster.

Andrew needs to rent that package from you for Sonoma.
As high a percentage chance of a win as I can think of. Downside is then the NB1 will be banninated.

Yep. I think I'm done with PTE. I'll let my customers enjoy their parts and cars without fear that they'll be legislated against due to my success. The formula is there, we know what it is, so I have minimal desire to go and prove it just to have it all banned anyway.

That is almost precisely where I am at.

I have many, many seconds to take off my lap times before heading there. I should be doing comp school at NASA-MA's October event though.

The pte guys I race with tell me at nationals I'll be DQ'ed for a couple things on my car.
I'd like for you guys to judge and tell me if you would protest. Pictures will be attached

1. Hood and flip up lamp covers have been bonded together.

2. Rear license plate panel has been replicated in sheet metal but no indention for tag or tag lights exists

3. Oem Under belly pan has been replicated in sheet metal

Be honest with me please

Wouldn't the tray be covered by the following no points allowance?

g. Aerodynamics
1) Undertray/ belly pan forward of the centerline of the front axle
And headlights by the combo of (if you're dyno classed)

h. Body
14) Headlamps, headlight covers, and fog lights may all be removed, and the holes may be covered with material that replicates the shape of the
BTM light/cover, leaving the shape of the BTM fascia intact. Uncovered holes may be used for brake ducts. Any hole providing improved intake air to the engine will be assessed one (1) point under C.4)
and

B. WEIGHT REDUCTION:
Weight reduction points are based on the actual vehicle Minimum Competition Weight (with driver). Removal and lightening of non-essential parts is permitted unless stated otherwise in these rules. Modification of the OEM frame, sub-frame, and floor pan are not permitted (see 5.2.2)

The exterior surface of the roof, hood, body panels , and doors must maintain their BTM size and shape unless listed otherwise in these rules.
I got nothing for the rear finish panel though. I do have a black one in my garage that I don't need.

I've never run RA but my PB at VIR is 2:25 in a stock power NB2 on used R6s with no weight reduction/relocation work done.

I'd think the rear finish panel unfortunately fits into the modifying rear fascia window.

1. I could see the PT director letting you slide based on h.14, but I could also definitely see you getting protested for modified front fascia. It's questionable enough that I wouldn't risk it.

2. Definitely have to take the point for modified rear fascia.

3. (Without seeing pictures...) Should be legal as no points as long as it doesn't go forward past the bottom edge of the bumper or rearward past the wheel centerline.

Here's the front fascia.
Holes across the nose are for cooling system. Cut outs on lower of bumper is for air filter

Are you taking points for the lower cutout?

I envy your garage, I wish I had that much space to work around the car.

That's included with the intake.

C4 -Modification of the BTM air intake/box, air filter location, air piping to the turbo/supercharger/intercooler/throttle body/carburetor, or hood/fascia/fender air inlet(s), outlets, or vents +1 (air filter upgrade alone 0 pts)

Under dyno reclass no points are assessed for air box modification. Im subject to transmission, suspension, brakes and aero.

My points sheet has no aero mods accounted for.

All I have is:
Pte * +7
Springs +2
Shocks +3
205 r6 +3
LSD +3

Totaling 18. Leaving 1 point before up class

I've never ran my car in PTE trim. I've been developing it for D but am making a last minute switch because I'm the only person signed up for PTD... lol

My car will do 38's, maybe high 37's in D trim.
I'm expecting 41's for E trim
