Default Autokonexion Flares?

Are they still in business? I ordered a set of NA V2's on their website and got no response. So I emailed and got no response. And their phone number is no longer in service.

I wish I could say yes, but I think they are almost entirely inactive. Mike has had had health and other troubles over the last 3 years. Done a little work here and there but mostly doing fab and design work at other companies to pay the bills. I too, have been waiting for some parts for well, a long time. I gave up last week and ordered parts from somewhere else. Bummer as those substitutes won't be quite right. We literally built a car around the wide NB rear qtr panels that we never got. Caged car is sitting in a shop with perfect qtr panels hacked off. Le sigh.

My advice, don't wait. If and when he's able to start filling orders, he'll probably pop up on forums and fb again.

He made a set of NB flares for me this spring, took about 10 weeks for delivery. I did get an email not long after ordering stating that they were very backed up and it would take time.

They're still active enough to inquire about renewing sponsorship over on Clubroadster, but only under the stipulation that we remove all threads that could potentially be viewed as negative towards them, including people who waited over a year for their parts.

Sucks, as they have parts i want, but i can't afford the gamble to order from them.

FYI My friend has now been waiting for his for MONTHS (since may). They are active... Just barely active enough to give you a load of bull **** about how your order shipped out.

Sucks to hear it's health related. I still just don't understand why companies over promise and under delivered. We just fired a subcontractor (aerospace machining) for the same situation this week. Why not just be honest and forward about your capabilities???

Stay away. Find them used on a forum.

I think it's an internet thing. Your site stays active even when you've slowed down or stopped. So orders continue to flow in. But yeah, that's under his control too.

I terminated my business relationship with them a year ago. Lead times were stretching and they started to become difficult to get in contact with. Sucks to hear it's health related.

I've got some rear full-quarter panels that I've never installed for an NA. Same ones Andrew has/had on his car. I didn't like the fact that they didn't flare down low to cover the frontal section of the tires. So I found a new/unused set of the half-panels, i intend to use those nstead. Glad I got them when i did it seems.
