that cf one looks intense. Yeah I didn't think there was much room back there, I'm just wondering if the cooling of that rotor surface would have any adverse effects

I can't really tell from the pictures. Is there a lip or bead on the duct that accepts the hose?

It goes beyond ditching the ABS, though. Anyone with a 94+ chassis would be required to hack up their spindle in order to move the duct closer to the center. Even cars without ABS have that spindle nub from '94 on. In our opinion, that is a totally unacceptable solution. That's why we came up with these - we wanted a plate that would fit all 90-05 spindles without modification, fit ABS-equipped cars without modification, and protect the two balljoint boots that are highly prone to heat damage from the brakes. There are other plates available that don't fit 94-05 spindles or ABS, don't provide any heat shielding to the balljoint boots, and are more expensive to boot - if all of that strikes your fancy. :hustler: Bob |

Got mine as well, doesn't really fit right in the area around steering arm, but I think I can put more of a bend in the upper crease to increase clearance and make it work.
|
OK, I'll bite, why are these things prawns?

"prawn" is the phonetic pronunciation of "pr0n" which is the commonly-used substitute on the interwebs for a word referring to media which depicts (usually) people, usually without clothes, engaging in behavior which many religious groups consider to be immoral. In other words the the title of the thread is brake p-o-r-n, which is never spelled shorthand to avoid blacklists etc. |
Prawns are here, someone pass the cocktail sauce.

Are yall sending out tracking numbers? I sent my set to the office and the mail room occasionally 'forgets' to bring packages up.
|
Yes. The complete kits have not shipped out yet but the backing plates alone have. Complete kits should ship out in the next couple days.
