Yea. I'm looking forward to the DC Pro. Come by and say hi. As long as I'm not in grid or under the car I'll be free to talk.

And Jboogie...were you at the Dixie tour? If so you should have stopped by.

Thanks for all the kind words. With it being a supercharged car I really didn't expect to get much love here

It doesn't matter how you make the power.

Your car is secks.

About the car being finished- If its finished, why are you selling shocks???

LOL Thanks guys. I'm not trying to be an ***. I'm just not ready to release the power numbers yet. It's not "Finished" I want it to make the number on a Dynapack that it made on a Dynojet

It made 5.6psi at 1500 rpm climbing to 15psi by 6500rpm....the the restrictive intake took over and the boost climbed to 18psi by 7500.

I see in another thread where you acquired a racelogic TC setup. Have it installed yet? Impressions? I've been in a 450whp FD rx7 that had it and was amazed at how well it worked for autocross.

It's not installed yet. I am still trying to get the ABS working so I can add the TC.

On a side note Perry Bennett snagged this pic of the cat this past Sunday.

I just sat down and went over the data log in Detail. Here are the boost #'s and intake temp #'s

1500RPM 5.071psi 87 Degrees
2000RPM 6.675psi 88 Degrees
2500RPM 8.126psi 87 Degrees
3000RPM 9.287psi 87 Degrees
3500RPM 10.883psi 89 Degrees
4000RPM 11.173psi 89 Degrees
4500RPM 11.318psi 92 Degrees
5000RPM 11.609psi 95 Degrees
5500RPM 11.899psi 98 Degrees
6000RPM 12.044psi 102 Degrees
6500RPM 14.221psi 110 Degrees
7000RPM 16.107psi 116 Degrees
7500RPM 17.558psi 118 Degrees

Right now I am using the 2005 VTCS Intake Manifold. I used it just because it came with the 2005 Mazdaspeed head I bought. After seeing the test done with a VTCS vs a VICS intake on a boosted car I am for sure making an intake manifold change. It's clear the VTCS manifold becomes a SIGNIFICANT restriction at 6500RPM. At 6500 boost pressure went through the roof and tq feel off like a rock. From looking at the Supercharger Drive map, if I could remove the restriction in the intake track, the resulting boost pressure drop ALONE could be worth as much as 25hp to the wheels. And that is not factoring in the increased airflow through the motor. The moral of this story is while the VTCS stinks for a Turbo car.....It FREAKING SUCKS for a blown car. The intake manifold swap and re-tune could end up being worth as much as 50hp to the wheels on my set up. I have been so blown away with how fast it already is...I really can't imagine an additional 50 or so H.P.

Well the new solid aluminum motor mounts are installed, oil leak fixed, exhaust fixed, oil is changed, plugs are changed and the car is ready for the DC Pro Solo!!! If any of you all happen to be in the DC area this weekend stop by and say hi.
