Carbotech RP2 Enduro Pad
Anybody running these yet? I hear they are similar to xp12's as far as price and performance but last 2X as long. The only downside is they take a lap to warm up, street driving them is sketchy, and they eat rotors cold.
We'll be trying them out over the next few months. Added to our website soon.
- Same MOT (max operatiing temp) as XP12 ~1950°
- Modulation and release characteristics similar to XP16
- Slightly greater rotor wear than XP12
- Slightly longer wear than XP8
- Transfer layer compatible with all XP line
- Less bite at low temps
- Same price as XP16
These are race pads only, not a good street or autocross compound. They'll not fade, and will last a long time. Downside is cost, rotor wear, modulation.
