Default Drilling Fiberglass seat back for Forced Air

Did anyone install forced air into a Fiberglass seat such as OMP HTE-R400? I know that some seats are setup for forced air (Racetech and some higher end models). I was just wondering if making a hole will make the seat unsafe?

I am getting a dual outlet pumper for my helmet and was thinking of using the second outlet in the seat if it's safe to drill a 1" hole in the back..

Im pretty sure any modifications to a seat nullifies any certifications it has.
