Eric Anderson's Supercharged SSM Miata

True, depends on the kart seat. But on the whole, if a kart seat isn't extremely tight fitting you're going to hurt.. sometimes a lot. At least with a car seat, you have belts to keep you from moving around too much.
Also thanks for posting this up Tuna, I've got a 1.6 head on the bench now that I'm working on a gameplan for..

Nobody likes the Tuna here.
I think what Chris means is: There is MAYBE 3 or 4 runs a year when someone sits in the passenger seat of my car. And the Kirkey seat is bolted directly to the floor and isn't braced. So it tends to move just a little bit. He apparently was a little concerned about pulling 1.5+g in a loose seat with only a lap belt

The first half was a little tough. You had to be VERY patient with the throttle. But the second half of the course was SO much fun. I love the courses we get at Blytheville. I still have so much to learn about this sport though. It's amazing how hard it actually is. I have road raced (W2W) for a few years and thought that would give me a good base for this. But Auto X at this level is SO much harder. The courses are always different, you only get 3 runs on each course AND the first time you get to drive on the course is in competition. All that said I feel like the car is handling great now. I was struggling with some issues on turn in which have been fixed. I feel like the rear is very planted and the car puts power down very well and I have confidence now that when I tell the car to do something...it will do it.
At the Pro Solo I was struggling with the car. It was making some god awful noises from the rear, it was snap over steering and just generally driving like ***. I got under the car to see what was going on back there and this is what I found.
Anyway. I have a lot of work to do before Nationals and am getting the build list together for the winter. Winter plans include a bigger badder blower, another 75-100hp and a Jerico 4 speed.
