Anybody done this? I'm adding a 5v circuit to power/charge my gopro through the bus connector and figured this is probably what the AIM Solo uses as well.

All I could find with google was the wiring on the DL version.

Says 8-16v.

 

You can charge it through the USB as well though, which I think all USB is 5v right? I know the actual cigarette lighter is 12v but I was thinking there might be a regulator built into the AIM cigarette plug.

I should probably just get a second cigarette charger and cut it, plug it in and check. Then I'd have the connector and pigtail.

 

Ugh. Never mind, $35 for the charger that's fking outrageous.
