Ballin'

Pretty sure the reason you didn't get answers is because we are all too poor to run remote res. shocks... :P

^exactly! lol.

But let us know how you like them... maybe you can convince me to drop a few grand on shocks instead of building my motor

5100's are single adjustable and would not have remote reservoirs.

Those are 5200's

Yeah, if I had seen this earlier I would have said that you're probably the only one with them.

So you work for an AST dealer...and you didn't know a) 5200's were available for Miatas and b) you didn't know that ALL AST 5000 series shocks are modular meaning 5100's can be upgraded to 5200's and 5200's to 5300's?

Hope you aren't in sales.

I don't believe the 5200s make a huge difference, I think you'll have to let me drive and see when you move back to K-town. Thanks!

No I'm not in sales, I'm a mechanic, but yes I did know that the 5100's can be upgraded. Just saying, I like things that are offered as readily available.

My KW's are only external on the rears. They're attached to the shock bodies, like in this picture (not my coils, or miata coil's at all):
