What a trooper! A hole in the diff case would have had me putting it on the trailer.

But then again with that giant new trailer of yours you probably had most of your tools from home with you.

Everything but the tig welder! J/K - I left it at the shop - it's currently gutted awaiting some re-make fundage - Sav took it all. But yeah, this happened on friday, which meant one of the local race shops were open where I could find a competent welder to patch the hole... saved my ***!

This was my third weekend at Rd Atl. It was my 8th track weekend in total. I have never hit before so it was a huge shock. I could not believe it happened to me. I had waited almost four months for OPM to finish the work and this was the very first weekend after paying all that money.
I feel worse for this guy than I do when some newb brings out daddys GT500 or vette and does the same thing... it's a very well built SM, but we all know the risks. ---- - screw the panels, what about the paint!
