Default NB2 undercarriage bracing

For those of you that track an 01-05, are you running all the bracing that comes on these cars? Mine's an 02 SE and I am installing a 2 1/2" Roadstersport mid-pipe and muffler and found a maze of bracing that has to come off to R&R the exhaust. Now I realize at least one reason the NB2 are so much heavier. Isn't Crusher an NB-2? I wonder if Emilio leaves all these braces on?

Maze of braces? There's like 3. The xbrace up front, the tiny little tube in the middle, and the ladder brace out back. And all of them should clear the exhaust if the exhaust is built properly.

I've got all mine in the 01, but if I'm honest I can't say I feel a difference between having all of them on this 01 and having none of them in my 99.

That's why I ask. It doesn't feel any different from my 99. At least it's placed low and in the center.

It's only 3 braces but 2 of them are made up of many individual braces joined together. There's at least 6 bolts on each of those 2 braces. Not a BIG deal, but a surprise after being under my 99.

We use the factory bracing. It's required buy NASA PT rules otherwise you get penalized some points.

If you build the car so it just barely meets minimum weight, you want as much down low and between the wheelbase as possible. So the OEM bracing is a no brainer. For a street/HPDE car struggling to get lighter, I guess you could leave it off.
