Oil cooler question
I was wondering if anyone has opinions on name brand vs Setrab oil coolers? Specifically in regards to how much better (if any) a name brand cooler cools?
Here's a link to the cooler I have. My cars turbo and sees the track a lot.

Basically the same no name cooler I bought but mine is -10 ports.

I looked into cheaper coolers and eventually went with Setrab. My main concern with the cheaper ones wasn't with cooling effeciency or capacity, but rather with slag or shavings in the cheap cooler causing engine damage, or it coming apart on track due to vibration, etc.
Cheap ones are probably fine, tbh, but when I crunches the numbers it wasn't worth the risk for my application.

Are you asking about off-brand coolers? Because Setrab is THE name brand for oil coolers.
My concern is much less about performance and more about quality control on a part where failure can destroy the entire engine. MotoIQ recently did an update on an RX7 build and went with Hayden units. For $30 more I'd much rather have a legacy brand name product than the latest "smash keyboard and trademark the result" brand on Amazon.
