Surprising how I ended up at the very similar suspension settings to Emillio and I arrived at those settings pretty much on my own by trial and error with mostly seat of the pants testing.

I also got a chance to drive the 949 Rental back to back in the same session as I drove my car in at Laguna to compare.

Here is my observation.

1. The Xida are in a whole nother league as far as damping performance than my old and tired Koni. My Koni gave the car a dead feel with much slower response. The Xida were more lively and the car was more responsive and it really felt more like the tires were connected by an inseparable force to the road over slight ripples, FIA curbing, and unweighted situations.

2. The other thing I noticed is the rental would rotate on throttle much more easily than mine. Very controllable, im not a drifter but I felt like I could force this car into a nice controllable power drift. I liked the way it felt but I was not sure it was faster that way because my car with a slight bit more push I felt I was able to add a more throttle earlier coming off corners without stepping sidways and I know that is fast. I do not know what caused this difference in feel for sure but my car had more aero with a GTC200 wing and a splitter, different sway bars and different damping, could be any of those things.

Bob
