Kinda expected to see this get posted on here sooner. Since Ryan doesn't seem to frequent here, I'm taking the liberty of posting his video of the Hypermiata's most recent outing. Holy hell!!
Also, kind of outdated for the current evolution of the car, but https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-pe...-85075/page71/

I wish he'd consolidate it all in a build thread somewhere, but I assume one is probably pretty busy handling a project like this, so he obviously gets a pass lol.
This is what you are looking for, I think

The ND-esque bumper/headlights looks really good. The NA's front end always look awkwardly narrow with giant fender flares and aero. This is a proper cohesive package now.
As we all know the first step to being cool is looking cool.

I loved seeing the rear suspension with no ladder bracing, mostly because I find all the comments from people that have maybe two autocrosses under their belt about how X, Y, or Z aftermarket bolt on brace totally transformed the car to be eye rolling.
The only reason to do a build like this is for a labor of love, and doing the engineering yourself, which of course is awesome. $150k was his response to "recreate it right now", not including all the money he's spent on the car while it had other powerplants or bodywork or whatnot. I wonder if that includes the cost of professional aerodynamicist design and consulting to get this latest ND style bodywork, or is just for popping out another set using the same molds.
