You made the right choice. Now you need to get the MR shifter in his next batch. I have had two and the extended version is worth every (inflated) cent.

I installed the heat shielding and the trans now shifts perfectly.

This was a beig sgdp and beig 3" ss pipe. It does ride very closely along the trans. I would recommend anyone who uses this set-up to install heat shielding.

Fit and function are otherwise top notch.

I used the oem heat shielding from the cat. I mounded it from the existing exhaust band clamp on the front and a hose clamp rear.
