Beatrush PPF frame - Race experience?
My first race was a standing start in very wet conditions. Of course I managed to light up the rears in my eagerness to get away resulting in axle/driff tramp and a bad get away...
Most of our races are standing starts.
I have bought a Beatrush PPF frame and fitted it. The increase in diff whine etc is quite noticeable and makes the road use not especially pleasant. In the wet on the road, the transition from grip to wheels spinning is instantaneous and makes me very nervous about using it in the wet......this sudden loss of traction is possibly only in a forward driving manner, I haven't managed to test the sideways/lateral grip with it on the road I "presume" lateral grip will be unaffected.....
So I have just taken it off with the intention of refitting as part of my race prep, along with gutted doors, race wheels/tyres etc.....
Question is, do any of you race guys use one? If so thoughts.
If not, why not....?
Have I just bought a placebo device? (or worse a traction reducer....)
