Another thing that can have a big impact is coilovers and bushings. Quality parts here substantially increase stability and confidence under braking.

I wasn't suggesting that someone add toe-in to correct braking stability, only saying that it has an effect. I prefer a bit of toe-in on the rear, but it doesn't have anything to do with brakes.
