Your 60' times are horrible and with the MPH you are running at the 1/8th mile you should be in the 7.50-7.70 range. On my old set up which was a M45 based SC and a 50hp shot of Nitrous (@ 240rwhp) the car ran

60' ft 1.779
330' 5.293
594' 7.603
1/8th 8.108
1/8th MPH 83.46

That was on a set of 205mm wide NT01's that were somewhere well beyond shot. If you can work on your launch and shifting the car might actually be able to run in the 11's with your current set up.

yeah, but with a fwd adn street tire, it's crazy hard to get 2.0 60'.best ever in my mx-3 with gt35 trim t3t4 on a jdm gtr BP was 1.698 with a set of 15x10 MT slicks.

fastivab6tg25mr, how can you run consistent 12 sec dun withour fubar transmition/diff? aren't you running a g-type?
also, had you ever tried to launch in second gear?

Festivas have a terrible front suspension design also. Every time I'm at the track people say they can see my wheels moving to the front and back of my wheel wells when I launch.

He's gone through a bunch of transmissions and diffs.

i was breaking DOZEN of those with slicks.nothing to do.

if it's not the spidergear creating vent hole in the trasnmition casing, it's third gear that simply shread to nothingness.

i was piling up transmition during winter to be able to go abuse the car during summer, there is next to no alternative, and going for a mfactory or quaife lsd doesn't solve anything:(

best of luck, going mid12's with streeet tire if pretty impresive!

the toyota E153 is the answer to the trans problem in the protege world... too bad its way to wide t fit in my car... i have 1-2MM bethwwn my alt pulley and the frame rail and barely enough room to slide a piece of paper between my trans and the frame rail on the other side

nice, I drove a friends festiva with a turbo swap at the road track in the rain it was fun as hell... well until the car fogged up to the point I could not tell the session was flagged due to rain but I was still doing laps till I flagged myself ha for zero viability ha.

relax I was the only one on the track anyway because it was raining so hard. once they started seeing standing water they called the session, I did like one lap after they threw the flag.

Maybe you missed the part about the tires he's on or the throttle percentage used, read again before you offer advice.
Also you can't compare you're rwd times to his fwd, don't work like that. Maybe I should compare my gvr4 time slips to yours and make fun of and tell you if you learn to drive better, you could be as fast as I am? Lol
