Default Wish I lived in Cali - miata expert shops

Not enough time to complete my track car project and lacking choices of a miata respected shops around, looking to expand a search and trailer the shell to someone who can finish everything on the car and get it running and wired up.

Any recommendations from the community on the midwest shops that can help me get my project to the finish line ?

Oh wow. Dan is leaving 949 and moving to midwest. That's good to hear or bad depending on which side you are on.

Thanks for the mention. I am not a vendor here so I won't say anything to advertiser-y.

I left 949/SPM on the best of terms to follow a promotion my wifey received, and you'll hear more from Tarmac 88 "officially" in the near future. I don't have enough shop space for service work yet, Tarmac 88 is in early infancy stages still.

Red Mist automotive is in the Chicago area, Mike there has been around a handful of miatas and has prepped more than a few for w2w.

That's the proper way to go about leaving a job and venturing out on your own! All to often I see poaching/raiding/discrediting former employer to jump start a new venture. Kudos Dan I wish you the best in the journey ahead.

Advanced Autosports is a large Spec Miata shop in Beloit, they can take care of all your racecar needs.

Thanks, I’ll still be involved as a dealer once production fires back up. Great team of people there that will remain long term friends.
