NB front suspension plus a 5mm spacer, no rear spacer
Nice little slide. Not me driving or doing the white man overbite.

I ended up having to remove the aluminium plate because the other side rubbed. For some reason the tire is 10mm further forward on the LHS.
The 245's fit bit it's tight and you need to move a fair bit around so requires a bit of work.
EDIT: man I sounded like a Kiwi! The 245's fit but it's tight and you need to move things around a fair bit (with a big hammer in some cases) so it requires lots of work to fit.

I think it's the same reason this fellow was biting his lip. He's having a crisis.

Kiwi ==> New Zealander
Who stereotypically talks with 'e', 'o' and 'a' vowels that sound like short 'i' or "u" sounds. Which I thought I sounded like when I first read what I wrote. Obviously way off the mark if mx5-kiwi doesn't get it

aha, you mean like fush and chups?

Hard to tell your own accent. Especially via the written word.

It's a shame accents don't flow across the interwebs

I think at this stage 10's might be a "Mental" project fro the time being. Look forward to more solutions and pictures etc...

Cheers.....

you can do 10’s. I’m going to do them. Check the car passion channel on YouTube. Kiddy on there does a ten minute chat on how you can do it. It’s pretty tight though and flaring is tricky.
I welded new rear wings on and flared them before I welded in a handmade inner arch so I’ve pushed the fender right out without the inner arch holding it in. Tough job and being able to weld will help.
ill post pictures when it’s complete

15X10 +25 (the most common set up you'll find) are not terribly hard to fit. A flat roll front and rear with some pulling is required, but i was able to do it with a shitty amazon fender roller. Your alignment settings and how your ride height is set can make it much easier or much harder. Also, take into account tire width. Not all 245s are going to be the same width, so that can be an added variable. I'll attach of pic of my car for reference. Its by no means slammed and running 3 degrees negative camber up front and about 2.5 in the rear. Zero rub on track.

Edit: wow i just realized the date on this... my apologies. the recent reply had me tricked.
