What he's referring to is the fact you won't hit 500hp with the 1.6.

You'll need a fully built 1.8L to even come close. Contact Andrew at Trackspeed Engineering.email: info@trackspeedengineering.comphone: 650-701-7223

500hp on the stock ignition? Is that the most current engine bay picture?

Lets put a poll on this thread too!

At what "power" level will spark blowout occur?

I saw your thread on miata.net about the car. We are far less nice here, and question outlandish statements. 500whp on a 1.6 ignition setup is unheard of. They just are not that strong to make that power. Also the size of the turbo required to make 500whp on a 1.6 would spooky absolutely horrible and only give you boost for 5000-7000rpms at best.

Other then that. Welcomes to the thunder dome.

Pro tip:

You're gonna have to be a lot less dumb and arrogant if you want to stick around.

Because this isn't facebook. Or clubricer. Or wherever else you hang out on.

This forum isn't your typical group of idiots that you can make absurd claims to and they'll just believe you because they're too dumb to know any better. Many of us actually know what we're doing.

He said on m.net that he is running 110 octane for the 500whp tune. So that will definitely help, but I still don't really believe it.

Wait, I've got it!

He'll be using a super high reading dynojet, so 500whp is easy.

I watched a stock 1.6 with an SR20 turbo at 11psi make 243whp on a Disneyjet once.

Made the FM2/Hydra car that followed it making 155whp on 12psi all the more impressive.
