Looks great. Are the rear on 11 or 12?

This was our first race (SCCA Hoosier Super Tour) with the bigger wheels and tires
275/35/15 on 15x11 front
295/35/15 on 15x12 rear

We are limited to 11” wheels on front but with the 12s on the rear the car out down power great now. I was 1/2 second under the track record we set last year at Hallett this year. 1:20.5 in Saturday’s race

Lots of pictures of both my cars on

I wondered about running a split setup like that. Normally we like squared but I always wondered if alignment were optimized would it be beneficial to run split setup in higher HP cars. Fortunately for me I have Rotrex so rear grip is not a concern.

What spacers are working for you?
Why not 295X11 on the front?
We are thinking 295 all around but 11's for the front and 12's for the rear..
Thanks!

If anything I'd rather have the 11s on the back and 12s on the front. At least with the 275s the wider wheels made it more crisp and more predictable on breakaway but reduced how much power you could put down.

Leafy did you reduce rear camber setting after jumping to 11’s on 275 tires? I noticed the car needed less camber front and rear when going from 9”s to 10”s on 245 tires. Standing up the rears helped put down power.

No, but I only have a little bit with my current arms and ride height. I run 2.5* could get down to 2.3* with the stock arms if I needed to but thats it.

Need some front wheel spats bad. you are loosing a bunch of front down force and adding lots of drag with that much exposed front tire.

trying to decide on these for an NA CSP car. I tried Ron's wheels on the CSP car at crows. Rear is not a problem it just grows out so make the flares fit. front on 11's looked very close to working if you run about as much front caster as possible to shift the front wheels forward enough to just clear the firewall when turning and cut more off the front bumper. Could possibly try a staggered setup I don't know yet. For SSM I think its within the rules to make them just fit in the front not quite so clear for CSP specifically as you specifically can't mess with anything inside the wheel well inboard of the wheel mounting face.

Ron tested the 295's on both 11's and 12's not sure what he concluded but he raced on 12's.

At crows on 275/11 we were also seeing 1.4 -1.6 g sustaining ~1.5. Grip there is just freaking nuts. But in the first run group where CSP ran the ambient temps were 20 degrees cooler it was 56 degrees when our group started and like 65 by the end of our run group it was in the upper 70's by the time heat 3 after lunch break Ron's BSP group was up.

So I finally got 295s mounted to my 15x12s. Here are some comparison shots of them to 275s on 12s.

Oh, forgot to ask Ed:

When do the 13's come out? Might as well get in on the preorder, I suppose.

(Between the previous owner of CSP 1.0, my co-driver, and myself, I think this is at least our 5th set of 6ULs...)
