Tracks Unlimited is handling the registration. I'm hard at work this week trying to get more information on WRL's website and getting registration up and running. Lots of stuff happening.
since our SCCA august date at barber is off this year due to paving the track i was interested until i read the rules.
My car would be an ITA cross over. it makes around 130whp
No 1.6 love, no sphericals, no 4.88 with aftermarket diff, no aluminum clutch cover.
Start posting this around the regional scca and miata pages. There has to be some mothballed miatas out there somewhere.

Registration for the first SuperMiata outside of California is live! It will be held at Barber Motorsports Park outside of Birmingham, AL on March 2-3.
Remember we must have 15 cars signed up by January 1st to make this happen. I know many of you have told me you were just waiting on registration to be ready. So join now so we can start planning more details. Once we have 10-12 cars signed up by mid-January, Emilio is going to pack up two of his cars and make the trip out as well.
Barber is a wonderful track. I was just there last weekend and it is perfect for a Miata. Great flow and multiple passing opportunities.
If you aren't planning on racing, come out and join the HPDE. Lets show Tracks Unlimited that there is serious interest in growing this series outside of California.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact me.

Cool. We had another fellow in the midwest buy what we dubbed "S2 in a box". Full suspension, wheels, brakes, engine prep, ECU, the works.
Maybe we should add it as a pre-packaged kit

I'm working on getting the required graphics made up and provided to the competitors. I was thinking about ordering a small amount of the SuperMiata number panels (available on the West group for download). I'm still working out a few details and looking for additional sponsors for the event.
