PM's replied.

As for the injectors. they are Delphi 780cc injectors...exact same thing that Precision and Fuel Injector Clinic sell. These just dont have a pretty sticker on them. They were used in my Buddy's 240sx Drift car that made 430whp for one season. he now has a 1UZFE toyota v8 with ITBs in the car and sold these to me.

Bump.

Possibly just getting rid of all the fe3 stuff and keeping the car.
Also, in the next week or two, there will be a transmission that bolts directly to the fe3 and uses an rx7 rear half in my possession with a fresh rebuild.... Making the need for an adapter plate obsolete. The rebuild kit will be here any day... Just have to reassemble with all the new bearings!

Joe- Sad to see the ferx7 not coming to fruition.

fwiw: The ute/bongo input shaft you're using for the hybrid trans will need the tip cut off (~10mm) for use with the FE3 because it will interfere with the crankshaft upon fitting. That ute/bongo trans was used with an F2 crank which has a much deeper recess in the crank end.

Yeah man it sucks.. But you gotta know when to fold... Better to cut my losses than sink another month and few grand into the car... Already taking about a $1800 hit parting it now.

As for the input shaft... I'll see on Friday when I pull the motor And trans housing out.

Bump!! Motor is still for sale. I will def. Make a package deal to sell most of the stuff in one shot.

Well you definitely have some righteous prices.

Is the hybrid trans your building using the ute/bongo input shaft the S5 trans mentioned above? What's the finished price?

Yeah I'm waiting on a few bearings and shims. the trans is a s5 rx7 turbo tranny tail housing and output shaft with the bongo bell, gear case and gears.

Gears 1-4 are bongo/ute (a little steeper than the rx.. 1-2 is closer ratio. But barely anything.. Like .1:1 steeper)

5 and reverse are rx7 gears so it'll have a good cruise.

The bongo trans internally is pretty much the same as an Fd rx7 trans... Its real beefy with the better shift forks and detents so you can lock it in 2 gears.

Between the bongo trans, rx7 trans, seals and bearings I have like 600 in it... But dude this is a fire sale... Im just trying to get out of this stuff and move on... I'll probably post it up for $450 once its together and go from there

Its weird the location of the oil dipstick.

Seems one may need to relocate it for a turbo manifold.

 i think it sits kinda perfect for a turbo manifold...

Thats a far as the car got... trans was bolted up with the stock RX7 trans mount... with the steering rack out, and sitting on the subframe it clears the turboII hood without needing anything cut... to make it work, you'd have to extend the rack abour 3 inches forward, lengthen the steering shaft to make up the distance, and space the subframe down about 3/4 of an inch....tons of interest in this stuff... seems like everyone is deciding if they want to take a 13hour road trip or not.

It does have enough clearance, thanks for the pictures.

There is a MX3 and a Mazda 323 hitting 9s and 10s with such engine platform, full body in PR.

This turbo/motor setup on about 22psi with water/meth injection should net you those numbers I'll sell you the motor/turbo/manifold and clutch for $1000 if you come get it by september 11th
