Is there any contact adhesive recommended to reglue any of the supports that have popped off from the underside of the skin? I think mine where already like this, but it's exacerbated the hood floppiness especially at speed.

I filled mine withas that spray on expansion insulation foam they sell at home depot and then cut the excess and spray painted it red when it dried. Looks good and it helped with hood rigidity

How much difference is there between the NA and NB version? I bought the NA version early on but have since sold that car and bought an NB. Are they close enough that I can make it work or should I just resell them and buy the NB version?

I think I read over at the Singular site that the parts are identical but the stick-on cutting pattern is different. I was looking at it a couple of days ago.

Zero difference between the louvers themselves, only a difference in the cut template.

Been very happy with mine. I also added some of that gold reflective tape to my intake pipe and it made the lovers look like this in the sun. Pretty cool, they change shades under different lighting. Don't mind fingerprints.

I am interested in picking a set up for my car but I worry that my turbo filter will fall under the rightmost vent. Anyone got a top-down shot overlaying the engine bay so I know what I need to cover/project before I start buying things?

Were you having cooling problems or you just liked the look?

No issues with cooling, it was a combo of wanting the look and running a "v-mount" intercooler on my supercharger set up. Running enough louvers has let me get away with the "v-mount" without needing a dedicated duct from the intercooler.

Looks like I'm not the only one who uses the aluminum jack handle as a hood prop lol

Trying to get prepared before installing my vents this weekend, and had a question. Can the vents be bent by hand without heating them with a heat gun, or should I be buying myself one before I start?

sixshooter 02-28-2019 05:38 AM

I don't remember a heat gun being mentioned in the instructions

ThePass 02-28-2019 02:18 PM

No heat necessary, we just bend them by hand.

To be honest, I haven't even opened the box yet, but I saw someone use one in a "how to" video on Youtube :)
