Default Help with Hydra wiring

Hi

I have some general questions about upgrades for my miata.

I have a 1992 miata that I installed a 1995 short block with a 1999 Head.

I had the short block built with a FM 2.0L stroker kit.

I kept the 1992 miata CAS (Camshaft Sensor).

I have FM turbo kit 3071, 3" exhaust, Big spark kit, Big Fuel.

Jeremy at helped me tune it. I have latest Hydra 2.7 for tune. I run sequential spark.

I am pulling the engine to install a new oil pump (boundary stage 2), new ID 1050 cc injectors, New skunk work throttle body and their intake manifold.

I have an ATI damper w/o timing sensor (36-2), but plan to install.

Ok now for questions...

1) should I convert to the crank and camshaft timing versus the CAS as used on 1999+?. I understand the timing would be much more solid, true?.

2) See attached diagram for how I believe the CAS to crank and camshaft sensors should be done. Is this wiring correct? This shows a VVT engine, but I assume the same for 1999 to 1992 CAS?

Thanks
