Default AEM 30-0300 CAN New Saga

Hallo,

My problem with the AEM gauge is no CAN connection. I have read a lot about this in other forums on here: "AEM 30-0300 CanBus AFR Gauge", "CAN wideband directly to MS3 Basic" and "CANbus Wideband on MSPNP Pro" but couldn't solve the problem.
I selected wideband in the initial setup and on the gauge cluster selected egoV1Gauge. The car runs, but I can't figure out why the CAN communication doesn't work. The wiring should be fine because the gauge works. I can read all the AFR values and below a picture of the connection at the ECU.
I sealed the other wires coming out of the AEM gauge. Does someone have an idea what I missed/ did wrong?
My setup:
Year: Miata '91, put a turbo on it
ECU: MS3
Firmware: 1.5.1
AFR gauge: AEM 30-0300 X-series UEGO gauge

You need a can module. I first thought I could just connect it with the megasquirt, cuz I saw some other post with just that. Guess it’s not possible without a can module.

It is absolutely possible to connect directly without a separate can module.
